About the P.O.W.E.R ECHO Project
The P.O.W.E.R ECHO Project uses the ECHO telecommunication model to bring together CHWs from across the country for professional development sessions. This training complements and enhances the core competencies learned during the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America’s Community Health Worker Training by providing additional resources, education and supportive techniques for CHWs.
Presenters are national leaders in their respective fields, and the interactive format allows attendees to learn from these experts without having to travel. We utilize user-friendly webinar software to ensure the sessions are accessible for all.
If you have additional questions or would like to learn how to become a speaker, please contact Kevin Amado, community impact and education manager, by email at KAmado@sicklecelldisease.org or by phone at 410-528-1555.
